Shriya entered into acting career through Kollywood blockbuster 'Unakku 20 Yenakku 18'. Then she acted in several movies in Kollywood.
Later she moved to Telugu and north indian movies.
now, she is staying idle without any job and said to be in the edge of announcing her retirement plan from acting and get married to some THOLIL Athibar. Speaking about this to HosurOnline, Shriya said "I will continue acting as much as I can with stand. I never care or bother about these kind of news. When I entered in cinema as a newbie, lot many people welcomed me in to this, in the same way I too welcome new faces. I never consider them as my competitors."
